Yes, PMs will be ported over. In the new PM system, PM'ing with other members will be more like a running thread containing the PMs you send to each other, making it much easier to follow and reference. There will also be a new ability to search PMs.

I've always had a fond comfort for vBulletin.

Xenforo isn't bad but I think it tends to actually look a bit more dated given it's less flat/reactive type UI look.

You could screenshot your subs list and manually sub again after the port.

I'd recommend PDF'ing the sub list instead. That way you should just be able to click the links to resubmit after. That's a little better than hunting for them.

I am also following the “subscribed threads” issue. Having subscribed to a couple of hundred, it will be a big waste of time having to resubscribe one by one.

I really hope you find a way to migrate this to the new platform as well.
