I'm more interested in this supposed dongle that keeps the exhaust actuator valves always open while tricking the computer. Would like to see pics/specs/info on that.
Me too. I'd like to find a way to always keep the valves open.

I'll hold my opinion until I can hear them. As much as I would love to have valve open cold starts the quiet mode does come in handy. Like when I got home from work at 3am this morning with the shelby

If anyone else is interested in a system, let us know. We do not have a valved muffler available at this time.

Yep, I like the growl, burble, rasp, and high pitched tone just as it is. If anything I would want it higher pitched, not lower
Do what many have done and what I have done. Install headers and a xpipe, keep the OEM mufflers. Will not break the bank, and you still will have that great sound, PLUS the ability to be on or off.

This is always a great option!

To me, a lower sound would be more akin to a traditional American V-8 rumble. A higher sound would be closer to an Italian exotic.

I think the Car and Driver review captured it best, when describing the sound of this very non-traditional American engine: It doesn't sound like a Ferrari or a Mustang. It sounds like a Mustang and a Ferrari in a chase.

For myself I do agree that a higher pitch would be great. The exhaust note is great but I don’t get that wail I love so much from a Ferrari engine. Ford went to great lengths to prevent the Voodoo from having that sound. There are times I think it is too close to a Coyote sound just not quite as deep. Oh well, does not detract from my enjoyment of this fabulous car!
