most of you I assume will say no so... I am considering trading my 18 GT 10 speed for a 2019 or 2020
GT for a manual. My 2004 GT was my last car that I rowed my gears for 7 years and enjoyed it.
Do any of you folks regret buying the Manuel as a daily driver?
I do not like the 10 speed I guess because it’s clunky, I don’t like the adaptive learning either.
I love the aceleration but it’s the clunky down shifts that “ bothers “ me.

Nope. This is coming from someone who sat in Chicago rush hour traffic for 4 years as well. The only annoying thing for me is 2nd gear.

I don't tire of gear shifting but I live on the flat prairies. I might think different living in the hills or mountains. Come to think of it now that the mustang comes with a hill start feature I doubt I would change. The hydraulic clutch action is so much lighter now than in the old linkage days.

Agreed. Love the manual. Only thing that interests me about the auto is the sub 12 sec quarter mile stock. Didn't interest me enough to change my mine before purchasing my 19. Great car and extremely fun with the manual.

I am tired of my automatic and would prefer a manual.

I've daily driven a manual vehicle for 20+ years. Hell, on the weekend or days off when I'm driving the F150 for projects / store etc, I'll just hop in my car just to actually DRIVE it. I commute it in and regularly get stuck in stop and go traffic - doesn't bother me.

Both my Mustang and Si are manuals. My last 7 cars were manuals. Autos not for me.

Stick is a lot of fun in snow too! Pretty much all driving conditions minus traffic.

Wow, you guys love to shift gears! Very cool.
I have not even test driven a s550 yet with the Manual. It sounds like the clutch engagement is pretty light compared to my old LX 5.0 or 2004 GT.

Well you asked and I am the total opposite I just traded my GT350 for a 19 GT 10 speed auto and absolutely love my new ride auto. And I am a car enthusiast to the max and have owned many of cars. Just last year sold both of my Challenger and Charger Hellcats which had the 8 speed autos.
And here’s my former 17 GT350 and my new GT Orange Fury:

The only reason I'd get an auto transmission is if I had to do 2 hours a day of traffic. My friend let me drive is Mazda CX-5. I was liking it but someting was missing. A good old shifter. Even my Mazda 5 is manual.

The new 10 speed auto is truly awesome in sport and or race mode. When your breaking the car she automatically down shifts like a race car and that is pretty cool with engine revs as well. I have not been able to drive mine very much since she has the Summer tires and I live in the cold weather climate. I am curious if the exhaust pop Crackles and burps when your running her hard like my Jaguar F Type auto does? That is over the top put a smile on your face when your getting into her and she pop crackle burps lol.
