mine are current 19x9.0 with 45 offset squared, with 255/40/19 wheels I have 20 mm spacers ,and the tire tuck/flush fitment is awesome to me. I want to stay there.

I was googling and couldn't find a single 19x9.0 with 45 offset for mustang, so I deleted the thread.

The ones on your link I really like are 9.5

If I get a 19x9.5 wheel, what offset do I need to look for to keep the current position of my wheels? 19x9.5 like 35 offset or 25 offset? or 30?

Thank you for that info! I want to clarify

My 19x9.0 45 offset with 20mm with 255/40/19

Will have the same stance/position as

19x9.5 50 offset With 20mm spacer

And
19x9.5 30 with no spacer

All 3 of these options will keep the same exact positions currently? Because it’s perfect. Anymore will throw rocks and dirt onto car, and it looks flush to me. I put tire stuff on wheels, it would fling onto car if any further out too

I would like to use or get rid of the spacer either way doesn’t matter. I just really like it’s current stance. The current read pirelli p7 all season plus I just installed 2k miles ago. The rubber is not going anywhere

9.5-9=0.5 inches. For the outer edge of the wheel to be in the same location vis-a-vis the mounting surface you would need to pull the rim inward 0.5/2 = 0.25" = 6.35mm. Offsets are most often in units of 5mm though of course you can find things like 32 or 33mm offsets pretty often.

It's all just math.
You're very unlikely to find a 9.5et50. 9.5 et40 and et35, et33 should be easy. et30 might be a bit more difficult. I prefer flexibility myself so that's why I went with et35. Buy a set of 3mm and 5mm spacers and play with them to see which you like the most. Maybe we don't agree on poke vs flush but I personally think 9.5 et35 is the limit for the rear.

+45 offset with a 20 mm spacer is 45 - 20 = +25 effective
+50 offset with a 20 mm spacer is 50 - 20 = +30 effective
+30 is +30

All close enough. Offset defines where the center of the wheel is, so if you are going to a larger wheel, and you are close to an inside or outside limit, then you might want to skew the offset in or out to maintain that dimension. So with a 1/2" (12.7mm) wider wheel, you would increase or decrease the offset by 6.3mm to maintain the position of the inner or outer edge of the wheel (likely the source of the recommendation to effectively move it 5mm with 9.5" wheels). But if you aren't changing the tire size, the critical dimensions shouldn't change much. And as 255 is no where near the fitment limits, +/- 10 mm is not enough to worry about.

PS: stock PP fronts are 19x9 +45
PPS: you can run your current 255 tires on up to a 10" wheel (which is my favorite general purpose Mustang wheel size). And if you are buying new wheels just get the right offset and sell the spacers.

Curious

currently
I have 19x9.0 45 offset + 20mm spacers square I like it.

I found these wheels.. I think there gdamn sexy. but expensive.
https://vossenwheels.com/wheel/hf-1/

It shows 2 options for 19, flat and deep, I like the deep look, but on the deep area it says.
19 x 9” Blank +18 to +51 Blank 0 to +46

What does that mean? can I get them made with 45 offset just like the ones I have now? so they would fit exactly where they are now?

Who's our biggest vossen dealer on here? I cant afford it now, but may be interested in talking prices with them.

I dig this one too a lot!. not sure which id pick, double tinted gloss black sounds sexy. but the graphite could be a hit too.

The concavity of the 9.0 in flat config is such that it can be milled anywhere from 18-51, while the deep is such that it can be milled back up to 46, and the 10.5" wide one starts at 18 and can go up to 64. If you're gonna custom mill (and why not) have them mill it to your end-state (25).
The flat profile should have no problems clearing the front calipers. The Deep, could be trouble. If it was me, I'd buy the 10" wide with ET40 and then play with 3 and 5mm shims.

I think you're looking in the neighborhood of 400 a wheel. errr make that $500. You know there are lots of options in flow-formed wheels in the 250-300 price range, right?

I kinda dropped like 900 on brand new set of rubber with like 2k miles on them, I am pretty faithful to these tires. Pirelli P7 All season plus, they are so quiet handle great, and I get literally 80-90k miles out of them! They aren't sport tires, but this is my DD and ive been rocking these wheels for literally almost 5-7 years now. So 19 inch wheels are what I need.

But the largest they come in is 255/40/19 which is what I have now. If I got rid of my 20mm spacers, could I have the HF3's or HF1 to the same spot without spacers?

If was possible id totally like to remove the spacer if was custom millable. get rid of a weak point while keeping that stance. ! 400 a wheel is not bad.

I think I like the HF3's the most out of what I saw, and honestly I think its beautiful. Heres my car, do you think black or the graphite would look better? I have chrome window trim, so part of me thinks to stick with black, or id go chrome if I had black trim.

Gloss silver is damn sexy looking. but part of me thinks it would be too much silver since I have silver window trim, any opinions? Black or silver or graphite.

I personally HATE black wheels so you won't get a neutral answer from me on that front. My philosophy is ANYthing to visually separate wheel from tire. Now if you had white sidewalls, I'd be fine with black wheels.

Since you have grabber blue, I'd worry less about some thin strips of window dressing and pick based on body color. A bright/shiny color like silver would clash with the bright blue. A gun-metal (which can vary from light gray to dark gray) should work. Or go with an actual color. Semi-gloss white or a dirty white (eg. Heritage) could work.

You know there are websites that let you model different wheels and colors on your body color of choice. Not perfect but you can easily shed some of the bad ideas...

Yes, just get them in +25. And 255 tire will fit on a 8.5 - 10" wheel, so no need to restrict your self to 9".
