From what I've read on the forum, 2018+ have developed a ticking sound coming from the engine. Some have said its due too thin oil 5w-20 and have switched to 5w-30 and noise dissapeared. Others have mentioned that it is piston slap and have been successful in getting engine replaced under warranty. As for the transmission, the shift forks are made of aluminum and are easily broken when shifting aggressively. Other than that you should be good.

I believe it is quick noticeable. There are plenty of videos on YouTube that talk about it

Some engines failed, some have the tick and some have a rattle.I had a tick after first oil change.it comes on when cold and goes away when hot.Now i dont hear it.Some have had new engines only for the tick to return. The shift forks have broken on a few,but they were ramming it in at high revs. Not saying thats not right but depends how you drive, obviously there's a weakness there. If you have a pre facelift the main failure is oil cooler and AC evaporator, plus a notchy noisey gearbox.
One thing that plagues both cars is water ingress/wet carpets.

Check on rear carpets and condensation on windscreen is a tell tale sign.
Not sure where it comes from.It hasn't happened to me but a few on here had it.

It seems there can be several points of water ingress. A common one, which my car suffered from, was from a misaligned grommet in the firewall. My local dealer fixed it and the car has been dry ever since.

Missing grommets, structure not spot welded properly and believe it or not instead of a grommet sticky tape used.
Hit and miss really but build quality has always been an issue.
