I’ve seen a bunch of posts mentioning how bad these tires are. Are they really that bad?

Having Michelins around makes them seem bad. I didn't think they were all that bad on my S197. There are much better options now, though.

Any Michelin’s in particular?

I had Michelin AS3+ on my 15’ EB when I lived up north and they were fantastic. I have the Pirelli A/S’s on my 19’ GT/CS and for day to day they’re just fine. Honestly I do not push them all that often but when I do they hang on pretty good. I’ll keep them on until their performance deteriorates or the age/mile out.

Mine suck.
As soon as I decide on wheels, I'll take these Pirelli and have a 'beach bonfire........'

Sure wish BFGoodrich made T/A Radials for these cars.......

Short answer: yes

Firestone Indy 500's are vastly better at an affordable price.

I suffered through 6K plus miles on the Pirelli's. I have been extremely happy for nearly 4K on the 500's.

T/A's look nice and perform good on my 70
But they'd be the weak link in a modern mustang

Nick, I forgot, did you order a PP car with summer rubber? If you did disregard my previous post. If my car had come with the Pirelli summer tires they would have been replaced a long time ago. Firestone’s for performance/value or Michelin 4s for max performance.

Nope. Just the standard GT Premium
