You have a pic?
Depends. I used them to break up too much black. If you are expecting an HP increase, then I'd say they are lame.

3. purchase an aftermarket stripe kit and hopefully the quality isn't complete đź’©
Good aftermarket vinyl is BETTER than Ford's. Ford wanted to match some of their paint colors. The only way to have vinyl match a paint color is to "print" the color on a white substrate. Same process as sides of business vans with pictures of people or products interspersed with words.

The only reason that makes any sense is Ford wants to be the only game in town for replacements and can charge absurd amounts. I mean, virtually any car owner would prefer one of the hundreds of shades they could buy replacement vinyl off the shelf from dozens of retailers, all competing with each other.

And Ford's printed vinyl does not hold up as well as "cast" vinyl where the color is all the way thru. Cast vinyl only comes in hundreds of colors, none of which are intended to match a particular paint color.

So... you can remove #3 from your concerns. And replace it with a big plus of being able to pick from a much larger selection of better-quality vinyl.

And don't forget there is the option of painted stripes (my choice). Virtually infinite colors, no special care, etc. Downsides of painted stripes: more expensive, much more time picking colors, down time in days instead of hours, way more time to pick a painter because picking the wrong one is a MUCH bigger problem than picking the wrong vinyl shop.

We could not have said it better. Not mention kits directly from Ford are crazy expensive, if you can even get your hands on it. You're paying for their label. Which is why most vinyl companies (ours included) do not sell things that are exact factory matches.

You have a pic?
I do not. My old Lumix camera died and my cell phone doesn't have a camera. My car is a convertible, so black stripes may have went better with the top. Blue stripes just seem like too many colors.

I think stripes belong on a shelby. All I did was get the roof wrapped black on my GT. At the end of the day its your car and if its makes you happy other peoples opinions are irrelevant.

The three of us agree:

I do also agree that they look good on most any Mustang if done right.
Your car, your taste, do what you like & enjoy!
The red Shelby with white stripes is sexy AF.

I fell in love with the styling of the Gt350 unfortunately by the time I could afford a mustang with a V8 it was way out of my price range. I was able to work my butt off for a 2020 Gt and I love the car. I always had a vision to bring the Gt350 styling too it. I haven’t received much hate on it because i’m not up-badging. Regardless here she is dual white narrow rally stripes from big worm graphix w/ 1/2 red pinstripes on Kona Blue.

Looks great but damn that’s low in the front. Ide lose the splitter leaving my driveway. You must have decent roads in your AO.

That car is beautiful! Side note, I see the IL plate, are you in the Chicagoland area?

im not a fan of many but this is a set that matches up perfectly to me. I may investigate these for my new ride when it gets here. The red would be a perfect highlight for my interior!
