I know they strayed a bit with the current model, but aren't the WRX and STi really just options on an Impreza? You're not counting another 7000 Imprezas sold at the same time, bringing the total to 10k. And I'm pretty sure that's just the US, not worldwide.

The WRX and WRX STI used to be higher trim packages on the Impreza, but starting in 2014 the WRX became it's own model. Now the STI is the higher trim of the WRX model, the Impreza is related but different.

Anyone notice the media blackout of the poor sales issue? I seen as many "Fair and Balanced" reports of a poor selling vehicle than I have fair and balanced comparisons. Maybe if HM hadn't paid for all the "Car of the Year" awards they wouldn't need to increase the MSRP already.

I have an account over on Camaro6, but it's more for lurking and learning purposes. I'm not over there to bash how they can't see out of their cars, but rather see what people are doing with them and how much they paid for them.

Also the occasional read on the Camaro sales post for humor reasons. It's absurd how much money they spend on those cars. Hell, I'm already concerned with dropping the money on a Mustang GT Premium as this is the most expensive car I'll have ever bought.

It's lame on both sides. It's funny how the slower car usually sells more and that's when people care most about sales....when the car they drive is the slower one they find any reason to feel better. ;)

Sells more means a lot. Dec '13 at the 6G Mustang intro negative postings abounded.

Camaro5 forum buried the 6Gpony. The Mustang forum was half and half.
A case of not knowing? The 6G Mustang sales leadership validates a lot about Ford.
The world today has many more choices than the '60's pony car war days.
What Mustang is doing is another chapter in success. Sales mean a lot.
In street racing the faster car is always the craziest driver!
Why not just slow down and enjoy a really cool car, in high demand?

I've seen on media.Ford and on the forums here about colors by region and popularity... But nothing on hard numbers broken down to color..

Well, I reckon if someone is so thin-skinned as to be driven to buying a Camaro so easily, let them -- they don't deserve a Mustang. I don't see anything but some mostly good-natured ribbing -- maybe a tad more -- but nothing to sway me one way or another with such a major purchase. "Oh those mean Mustang guys! I'll teach them! I'll buy a CAMARO -- then they're be sorry!"
