This post may get moved but I trust you guys and your opinions. Once I get my GT, I’m considering a local shop to install the XPEL clear bra on the front, hood and fenders, mirror backs and then do Ceramic Pro on the other 2/3rds of the car. I saw another Gt they did and it looked amazing. Was quoted $1800 for the XPEL and $1200 for the Ceramic pro with 6 year warranty. So $3k total. This will be a weekend and summer fun car. Drives in the mountains and maybe a couple of track days per year. No commuting. Minimal hwy time. More stuff like Blue Ridge Parkway, weekend trips to Asheville, NC stuff like that. Probably will put on no more than 5k miles per year. Is the XPEL and Ceramic pro worth it?
Only if you are going to keep it a long time...more than 5 years. Otherwise 3k is not worth the investment for what you will defer from trade in value. to me the Xpel for sure is really something to be used to keep you car looking good for a long time.

Yep. Ordered my Magneride GT, PP1on 10/7 and it’s scheduled to roll off the assembly line on January 10Th. No Magneride back order issues as far as I see. I had no special priority. Pp2 cars are now delayed due to cold weather as the pilot sport cup 2 tires which are prone to crack when the temps are low.
I believe that to be the case with the PSC2 tires and understandable. Bottom line is that they didn't care whether they got my business or not. I guess that's one of the draw backs to high volume business and the x-plan.

My blend date is tomorrow. Still scheduled delivery of 12/31. It's getting really hard to contain my excitement. Girlfriend got her oil change today and sent me a pic of a Bullitt on the showroom floor. Just makes me want my Mustang that much more.

Late entry. Blend date is October 17 but my car was delivered on November 24th.

I kinda wanted share something interesting about my car when I received it.

The deliver date had been delayed a couple of times and i had 16.6 km on the odometer. As I flipped through the menus, I found out that someone did 1.86 and 1.79G on my car.

Interesting...

I havent driven the car since the delivery day due to weather unfortunately it was starting to snow lightly at the time and temp stayed around 0 celisus and below most of the time till now. I will probably store it till spring since I wont be changing tires.

Can you really do this high Gs on the car?

I have done track days before but I dont think I can pull that off.

Maybe it was on a superfast train. Either that or they flipped it like a pancake.

I don't think you could get those readings driving the car, at least not one that is still in one piece. I'd reset it and never think about it again.
