See LMR sent me these vs the 2062. Seem identical except outer plastic frame? Any issues with these?

thanks

Is that the ā€œold styleā€ filter?
If so, there is a distinct upgrade with the new filter. That said, Iā€™m sure the old style still works fine.

Thanks. Checked with LMR then for some reason had a panic attack when I actually read the box and it said ecoboost, after I installed it. Figured check in here

are they not making 2062 anymore?

Itā€™s the new old style I guess. Iā€™m waiting on FL-2087s for my GT500. Iā€™ll change to that on the R next oil change since it appears the 2062A is okay to use

Yea the GT350 Supplement notes the FL2087 is correct for the GT350 also.

The 2062a has slightly larger pleats, and no black plastic end caps.

2087 also has a metal support inside the cartridge. 2062 did not. I think I read on here the support was added due to some 2062 collapsing.

Thatā€™s correct. I was just comparing the 2062 and 2062a.

Interesting about the collapsingā€¦ I hadnā€™t heard that but I guess it makes sense.

Interesting. Never had any issues with the 2062

The 2087 is definitely more robust

I just got my oil change kit from k-mansparts a couple of days ago and it included the 2087. For comparison to the above photos:

Yep. I got the 2087 filter in my oil change kit from K-Mans yesterday. I changed mine today and installed the Air Raid filter 863-399. It's the same as the FP air filter but $25+ cheaper.

Yes, I have used the 2062-A for my last several oil changes. I just kept ordering the same filter on Amazon, without noticing the other threads about the new 2087. I have had no issues (that I am aware of).

My last oil change was a few weeks ago, which included about 3000 miles and one HPDE track day. The onboard oil life indicator said it only had 3% life left at time of the change. The filter looked 100% normal, and the oil looked pretty damn good. (I saved a little to send in for Blackstone analysis, but I'll be damned if I can find my little black bottle.)

I just ordered a 2087 for my next change - it's more expensive ($30 vs. $6), and one month backorder.

Thanks. Exactly what I was looking for
