That photo is the 2087 from motorcraft. I hadn't seen the second Ford part number.

The yellow filters are the superseded 2062 and 2062A which are cellulose material and have the plastic inner frame.
Just confused why the box and the filter itself have different numbers on them....I have a filter that matches that exactly in the picture but no box.

Those part #'s are interchangeable

I have found a few vendors by searching those part #s instead of searching on 2087. They typically note 5.2L w/ Supercharger as the 2087 is for the GT500 and 2017+ GT350s.

We will see if my order gets canceled.

Most of the parts in your Ford have part numbers stamped into them or on labels that don't match up with the dealer spare parts catalog. I've seen them referred to as "engineering part numbers" but I'm not sure why Ford does it that way. In any case, if the part is genuine Ford and it's got the right number on the box, then it's the right part.

Resurrection... Aside from the 5.2 voodoo, is/was the 2062 and 2062a used on any other mustang variants? The coyote gets a traditional screw on filter. I see they fit SUV & Bronco 2.7/3.0 engines.

I just got handed a bunch of these. I googled and searched the forum but just keep happening upon the GT350 application threads which the filter clearly isn't used for anymore.

Are these of any value or for the trash heap?

I heard that the "A" was the Canadian version?
