I don't think 6GR makes non R-spec rear wheels (11") for GT350 offsets. Maybe 5.0s, but you should ask them. They are quick to respond on their chat.

I run 305/35s square on R-specs - 11f / 11.5r - no issues.

R-spec 11" fronts - no problem - the offset is correct.
i'm trying to decide whether to get 11" or 11.5" on the rears. i've got an almost brand new set of four "305/30/19" tires just sitting in my garage. i know i will do 11" on the fronts, but i just cant decide if i should go 11" or 11.5" on the back. i'd love to use the 305's i've got all around though. just not sure how it would *look* going 11" with 305s on the fronts and then 11.5" with 305s on the rears. i just cant picture it.

hence leaning toward 11" for all 4 wheels though i think i'd rather go staggered. if anyone has input, let me hear it.

First, I would confirm with 6GR that you can get 11 inch rears with proper GT 350 offset

Here is a 325 r on 11.5 - top two photos - the tires will poke our of wells a little

This is 305 r on 11.5 - bottom photo - tires cant inward. Ignore the front - it’s a 295, not 305

yeah they have the 11-inch R-Spec for the rear. I'm actually heading to their shop later this week just to talk with them and check things out, they're about a 30-minute drive away.

thanks for the pics, I don't like how the 325 looks it's too much bulge. not sure if that's how it would look for the R-Spec?

Having them that close to you and visiting is a great resource. Go and pick and their brain - I’m sure they will be super helpful.

If I’m not mistaken, the actual “R-Spec” for GT350R =

19x11 ET 24
19x11.5 ET 56

305/30/19
315/30/19

So, an 11” rear is not technically “R-spec”. But it would get you a square setup. If you are going eventually (or now) going to 325s, than 11.5 might be the way to go.

And unless they change the offset for the 11” rear, the poke will still be there, albeit a bit less.

I’ll try to snap some pics of my setup later today.

Keep us posted!

Bringing this thread back to life as I’m considering buying a set of SC 2’s that a local guy pulled off his GT. 305/30/19’s. I want to put them on the 6GR R spec wheels I just picked up. I read the comments here about putting a 305 on an 11.5” wheel. Since this thread is from so long ago, just wanted to see if there is any new comments to be added. The set is $400 for tires with less than 300 miles so I’d love to scoop them up if there won’t be an issue with the tire on that wide of a wheel for track use.

Tire rack has the specs if that tire can be mounted on those rims.

For PS4s for example, Michelin is ok with it (mounting a 30/305 on a 11.5" rim).

Great suggestion! Just checked it and it looks good to me. Being that these came off a GT PP2 and I’d use them on my R, there wouldn’t be any detriment to performance right? I just assume that if they fit my wheel, they’ll deliver great performance.
