Just bought a set of R Spec wheels. Got a great deal on 305/30 tires for the front but really struggling to find any 315 or 325/30 tires at a decent price. Considering running 305/30 on all 4 wheels. Everything I have found online says a 305 tire fits a 10.5-11.5" rim.

Anybody done this and care to share their experience?

I’m not sure I’d do 305’s on the 11.5 wheel.

I have 305's on the 11.5 R-Spec wheels on the rear. They are PS4's though. Crappy photo...

It really depends on the tire. Even though two different tires may have the same width number, the actual physical width of the tire can still vary. The R spec Cup 2's tend to be on the narrower side. So even the stock 315 Cup 2 tires are slightly stretched on the 11.5" wheels. I wouldn't try to stretch a 305 Cup 2 onto an 11.5" rim. Other tires that tend to run wider may ok though.

I am running:

6GR Five R-spec - 11F 11.5R
Nitto 555 G2 305s square

No issues street, but no track time on them, so I cannot speak to that end.

11.5" rim is within spec for 305s.

As you are probably aware, the R-spec wheels have a different offset, and will have noticeable "poke" with greater that 305s, if that bothers you.

Mine was about 5 mph high with them before I adjusted the value with forescan.

yeah i am looking at a new set of wheels, might go 19x11 all around with 305's but if i did 19x11.5 in the back i'd go 325's myself.
Do the 6GR’s come in non R (11”) rears ?I have the “R” size 6GR’s with 295/35 F and 30/35 R.Rear almost looks not wide enough for the wheel.Has anyone run the 305/35’s square on R size 6GR’s?How about running R size 6GR’s (11”) on front as I have and non R 6GR’s with the 305/35’s if they make them ......I hope this makes sense !!!

Best to message them directly but I believe they offer other sizes. Their username is Need4SpeedMotors they are having a great Black Friday special that starts officially tomorrow but I put in my order today.

I don't think 6GR makes non R-spec rear wheels (11") for GT350 offsets. Maybe 5.0s, but you should ask them. They are quick to respond on their chat.

I run 305/35s square on R-specs - 11f / 11.5r - no issues.

R-spec 11" fronts - no problem - the offset is correct.
