How much boost are you expecting .

I think the 3.25 is ~ 15-16 psi .
19 psi ?
Yes, I saw a peak 15 with the 3.25 and if this next pulley actually holds 18 or 19 I would be ecstatic! I’m skeptical but hopeful!

Changed my mind again.. lol
I have a new 2.85" Griptec pulley coming for the Gen 5 and will give that a shot! I was happy with the 3.25" Griptec performance and with Jon Lund's awesome help on the timing ramp and tuneup, will give it a GO!
Who's joining me! lol
Yooo I need to know how this works out lol. If its good I'll grab one.

Well we just cleared 900 wheel w/ a 3.125 non griptec. Exhaust must be flowing well because we only peaked at 15.5 psi

I’m seeing 15.2 with a 3.87. Get that 10 rib on there with a 3.50 and you’ll see 18!!

lol why go 10 rib when we keep getting faster without it! Probably won't do the upgrade until the winter, got a couple more tricks up to see how close to 8's we can touch on the 6 rib!

Thanks!
The converter was key for the 2nd gear leave.
I used the K060806 80.6” Gates HD belt

Congrats man on those fast times .

I bet you already have a “spare “ engine just in case .

Is the wait time any less ?
Last time I asked it was 2-3 months with or without a core .

Thanks again man on the heads up on the converter.
I snagged one . Probably ok to now give anyone else who wants one too a heads up that Beefcake may have some left in stock (since I already got one ) lol

I switched to E85 with the 3:25 pulley and have not yet got a 1/4 mile. .
I did get a 1/8 mile pass in muggy weather and went 6.40 which is the faster than when I went 9.9
MPH looks down and it might be the weather or track, but still way down to what others have run with the 3.25 pulley .
Not sure how much boost (never look at the gauge which probably not accurate ) but
load wise ,it’s still also much lower than others @192 max compared to others seeing big 190’s

Also got better 60’s and consistent 1.50’s.

How much gain should I expect with the converter?
If I can get down to at least low 1.4x’s I will be happy with mid 9’s.

I am considering dropping to a 3.0 pulley if I can get one but also not sure how hard I want to push this engine as it’s now my daily (I had to give up my Audi as my middle Kid now has a license )

The “ spare car “ the GT 350 is still down and the two 15’s are kind of off limits as I want to sell them ... when I can get them running . 6r80 in Hellion car is being rebuilt for second time this time with planetary gears and KB car is getting new motor swapped in .

How is the belt holding up? Are you see more wear then normal?
Hard to tell, I’m obviously expecting less longevity. I have a bunch of street miles and six track passes on it and it didn’t shred...
