Anyone know of a location to check out helmets for a road course?

Going to take my car to a couple road courses and I'm looking to try on helmets to check fit. Does anyone know of a location in the area? Thanks in advance.

Check out cycle gear or bates. They are motorcycle shops but helmets still meet standards for track.

I may check Cycle Gear out. Chatted on their website and they gave me a couple options.

How much time do you have before your track days? I've got a contact with Black Armor and a couple of others, but it will take a bit of time to get answers.

MSR Cresson rents helmets, they might let you try to fit.

Smiley's in Mesquite has some you can check out too. They have a website...smileysracing I believe. I'm still thinking about signing up for some track time too!

FYI- The Texas Mile requires a SA2010 or SA2015 rating so keep that in mind! Maybe we can get a group together for a trip down to Beeville!

Registration opened up this week for the Texas World Speedway in May at TheDriversEdge.net. I plan on going to MSR in June also. I'm in the instructor lead groups and they fill up fast. Maybe I'll see you out there.

Yes, SA2015 is what I'm looking at. Smiley's has a Bell that may fit the bill.

Picked up a Bell helmet from Smiley's. Good fit and price . They have a couple different brands and price ranges.
