Anyone have any tips on what to use to clean the plastic honeycomb in the front bumper? My Fingers are a bit too large so need to figure out something...

One of those plush wash mitts does just fine.

Can't be too aggressive with the plastic.

Considering you have the 2018+ model with the gloss black grill surround, I would be careful what sort of brush or wash mitt you use on the grill.

I would be looking at the Detail Factory Ultra-Soft brush. These are offered in short and long handle versions, you want the long one.

You could also have a look at the new CurveBall Brush -

For less sensitive surfaces, the boar's hair version of the Detail Factory brush is what I recommend -

Use either of these brushes with APC or soap depending on how dirty the grill is.

I'm going to try this option first. The brushes look like a good solution to. Thank You.

The microfiber mits I bought are surfaced with countless little fingers; I'm thinking these will gently work their way into all the affected areas while still leaving the factory finish shiny.

I have a 'very' long haired wash mitt and do it with that after the normal foam and jet wash etc.

I treat it like any other paintwork (particularly like the black roof and the decklid) - two buckets etc and done long before the mitt has been below the belt line of the car.

A fast / small agitation of the mitt has the fibres going through the holes and cleans well. About four goes through the buckets to get it all done, keep it really soapy and give the mitt plenty of opportunity to rid itself of any debris (although those are unlikely due to the jet wash).

I don't know what it's called but one of these works. Rare but can be found.

I don't spend a lot of time on the grill as I have yet to see any significant dirt on it. Consequently, I simply use a large, soft bristled brush with lots of soap and water.

Now, if dead insects were an issue, I would soak it thoroughly with water then foam soak it for maybe ten minutes then use a slightly stiffer brush to get the gunk off.
