I've just got a window mount for my sct tuner, like the idea of having it permanently plugged in with the gauges, however I was wondering if this drains the battery as I can see it still stays on in a sleep mode getting power from the obd port.

Has anyone has an issue leaving it plugged in permanently?

I had mine plugged in permanently.
If you go into settings there's an option for it to go into low power mode.

I had it sit for a week with no issues, however I've since removed it.

Too many people are assholes and having that on display in your window is an invitation for thief.

Thanks, set power save mode to auto in the settings, will see how it turns out!
