I just upgraded from an old one plus one that had no issues. I was able to connect the phone and everything. It has my contacts and it says its working, but I can't hear anyone on the other end unless i switch from sync --> speaker. Anyone have this or know of a fix?

If you haven’t you may need to go into SYNC settings and completely delete all phones (and imported contacts if they don’t get deleted).

Then set up the new phone and contacts.

I had a similar problem with going from an old iPhone 6 to XR. The new phone would connect as far as being noticed by SYNC, but there were connectivity issues with actual phone functions, contacts and any app that was used via Bluetooth.

Also make sure SYNC is the most recent version AND that your iOS is also the most recent to avoid any compatibility issue with the connection.

See if that helps.
