Anyone ever use G2 high temp caliper paint on exhaust tips?

Just wondering if anyone out there has any experience using the G2 high temp caliper paint on gt stock exhaust tips?

What metal/finish are the calipers made of?

What metal/finish are the exhaust tips made of?

That's your first step in figuring this out.

G2 is pretty expensive for that use; I've blackened several chrome exhaust tips with plain old caliper paint from Pep Boys. Inexpensive and lasts, Also cures pretty quickly (you can smell it) when you drive a fresh application at low land speed, high engine speed. If you're looking for something other than black, I have no experience.
