Is the decrease in insurance rates due to marriage because the wife sells the mustang? 🤣
No, but lol...

I married a 21-year-old, combined her truck and my cars into one insurance policy and the new rate was like my rate by myself, plus a few dollars.

She had questions for the insurance agent because "Wait, I'm under 25 and now I'm insured to drive a 240SX..."

The agent was like "Apparently marriage means that you're more responsible now."
"Or something. 🤷‍♂️ " (Hey, the agent didn't make the rules)

P.S.: 8 months later she was declared at-fault in a wreck that totaled a 240SX. 🤦‍♂️

Dang that is a huge increase! Pretty sure mine increased about 18% but I'm in Denver CO so large city with tons more accidents and costly repairs. Did you move or any other changes happen on your policy? Plenty of insurers are increasing prices across the board on coverage, but a whopping 30% without good reason is just greed.
No changes. No accidents. No tickets. No claims. Didn't move or anything.

Mine went up 20%. I called them and they said it wasn't anything I've done. They must just be taking advantage of inflation and raising their rates or there's been way more claims and they're passing the cost onto us. Which generally is how insurance companies operate.

What year mustang? via Hagerty... Mine is a 2021, would hagerty insure new vehicles?

Thanks Anthony
Hagerty will definitely insure new rides unless it is a daily driver I believe. My 2022 GT is around $680/yr. but don't quote me on it. My policy was for three vehicles which is now one as the others are sold. Policy was $975 for the three.
I will look for the actual amount when I get home

I think they will insure your car but the rate will be higher most likely. But full value payout no questions asked. Call them and find out for sure.

yup, mine went up for no reason, but so did my homeowners (just because values are going up i guess.). my 07 tacoma went down, and stang went up. i'm paying about 150 more a year for both taco/stang now. sucks.
