Check out my pic. I’ve noticed a couple times. Bunch of darker black little spots. Almost like soot or something. Is it from the exhaust? 🤔

Or maybe brake dust.

Probably just normal tire and brake particulate pollution....what does the tail pipe look like?

I often see heavy brake a tire particulate accumulations at curb lane light right turn areas.

Reminds me of how much tire and brake particulate pollution is floating around in high traffic urban areas.
Yeah good call, I’ll check the exhaust but from a distance yeah it looks fine. Hmm. Probably just road shmutz!!!

God I can only imagine. These are so sensitive that I look like an asshole when I’m breaking sometimes because I just stop short. I go from driving my F150 or my Tacoma to this thing and I have to get used to driving it all over again every time

I have the same color, it gets super dirty on the rear bumper and tail lights if it rains and I don't wash it for a while. I sometimes have to wipe the backup camera off so it's not all foggy.

Cool. Must be brake and general road shmutz then. Good to know! Yeah my baby is dirty. She needs a good wash lol

If you wipe it and it smears like it's oily you could have an oil leak somewhere misting out from underneath the car from the wind. If it just wipes off its just the shmutz as you call it

Looks like shmutz! No smudge. Good tip!
