Sweet. How long are the resonators?
I think they're just about 12". This whole thing is 27" so it looks like they're very similar to the Vibrant 1792.

Cool, the vibrants will probably be the way to go if this experiment works, in the absence of more. GT350 take offs.

Yeah. There's a GT350 X just by itself (no resonators) on eBay for like $75. You can also get a new magnaflow TruX (part number 10791) and then add the Vibrants. Most X pipe resonator deletes don't have enough room to add the Vibrants.

:giggle: I think it's kinda too smooth/too refined with the resonator, but I know people like that too. With the X pipe it's the best sound I've heard yet for this car...just too loud.

Turned out just like I hoped! Volume is almost perfectly in between the X and borla resonator. Tone is better and much more exciting. The only downside is that in order to fit it, they had to weld the back end to the midpipes. I'll still be able to take the catback apart, but just at the header joint and the axleback. I'll get some sound clips soon.

Now that's legit.
Way to soft with the Borla Res.
I've always been a fan of true cross style X's. They're very expensive to fab so most just whack the backside off of 45's, it just isn't the same sound to my ears.

It's the best I've heard yet! Amazing mix of exotic and muscle together while being loud but not stupid loud. Thanks for helping make it possible.

That sounds great. Definitely that mythical middle ground.
Make no mistake: it is loud, closer to the X by itself than the borla resonator, but still noticeably more controlled.

What you're after is the borla resonator with muffler delete.
Deep, good middle ground volume wise, and screams when you put your foot down. No rasp at all!!!
