Anyone done axlebacks other than Borla with Borla resonator?

I have Borla SType catback and bought Borla resonator which turns it into touring. Sounds great except when you hammer the gas it sounds close to stock.

Will other axel backs fit to Borla catbacks? SType x-pipe too loud. Resonator not loud enough when accelerating fast. I’m stuck in the middle lol.

Or ATAK axelback w/Borla resonator?

I'm gonna try a GT350 X pipe with the Shelby's oem bottle resonators behind it. Based on what I have learned, should be close to the middle ground.

Lots will fit. I bet the ATAK axleback with the resonator will be a good fit. AWE touring also is a perfect fit (is a loud axleback, don't let touring name fool you).

Just picked it up from @GregO, and dropped off at the exhaust shop near my house to modify slightly to fit in the 25" length the borla X and resonator are. Should hear back tomorrow.

Well, they'll need my car to make sure they can make it fit and still be able to be clamped and removed easily. The alignment is important. That's understandable. I'm going on a trip for a few days so it'll have to be next week. I'll be sure to update you all when it's done.

With the X pipe it was amazing sounding, but very, very loud.
