I'm looking to bypass the factory amp using a CarAV 12-240 (not available right now) or FOR-11CK harness. Can anybody confirm the plus / pinouts are the same as earlier years?

I used the car av harness on my 19, I believe they are the same for 20.
If I'm not mistaken, the alpine upgrade kit is listed up to 20 model year. It had an identical t harness in it. I went back and looked alpine lists as 15 up but I believe it's the same.

Thats good news. I am hoping there are no changes. There appears to be a shortage of items from China like the CARAV 12-240. Lots of things are out of stock nowadays. The local stereo shops are pushing the Maestro harness ( SR?? or DSR1 solutions).

I ordered 2 from Amazon and it about 3 or 4 weeks to get them. Everything from China takes a while. Actually i ordered some clips from eBay a week ago from China and they've already arrived so might be getting better.

I have a 2015 GT Premium with the 9 speaker set up. Is this what I need to add a amp to replace the amp in the kick panel? I want to install new component speakers in the front and install a 2 channel amp to push them. Has anybody done this to their Gt? If so can you give a install tutorial.

To replace the amp in the kickpanel you're better off with an idatalink HRN-AR-FO3 harness, as this gives you all the plugs to connect to your cars harness. You have to modify the harness though, but if this isn't intimidating to you i would go this route.
Please note that you need a 6V-to-12V converter relay like the PAC-Audio TR4, too, if your amp needs more than 6V remote turn on voltage. This thing can easily be included into the modified harness which then will give you all of the following:

1. line level preamp outputs to your aftermarket amplifier
2. 12V remote turn on to your amplifier
3. integration to your cars speaker harnesses for
  • midbass front
  • midrange front
  • rear speakers
so these don't need to be totally rewired.
You need to rewire your tweeters though if you want to put them into your stock location in the A-pillars.
