Anybody go stage 1 whipple to stage 2?

Started with stage 1 best pass 10.70 at 133.21. Installed stage 2 which was 132mm throttle body,3.875 pulley and dw 400 pump and skinny fronts best pass 10.53 @133.97 . weather was pretty close in temp and humidity.Car 60ft was better as was the 1/8th. Not real happy with the fact that the mph was pretty much the same . anybody else have results?

Lots of things can play a part of this, what fuel?

Do you know what the shift points were on both tunes?

My guess is your average power down the track stayed close to the same.

With out knowing your da, spark (how good your fuel was), and shift points for both runs it would all be a guess.

i was using my mph as a basic hp indiacator. I would have thought it made more power with the extra boost and throttle body.

Not if it was knocking and your were down 3-4 degrees

I've always had stage 2, but we did pick up about 60 whp when we turned all the guardian features off within the whipple flare ...overload limiting, etc....and used HP Tuners to change knock monitoring to "per cylinder " rather than "global".

The newest tune for the 2018+ doesn’t have any of those features and is set to per cylinder

The car could be making great power and something(s) could be kicking in to limit it: traction control, knock, torque management

I don't have track times but I can give you dyno #'s. All on Mustang dyno same shop Different days 93 Octane.
Stock: 412HP
Stage 1: 567HP
Stage 2: 632HP

Ever think about going with E85? My 2018 is going Whipple Stage 2 (2.5) with E85 custom set-up. Should be up and running in 4 weeks.
