I did a search and didnt see anything. Since the Ngauge is no longer available, i have the RTD from lund but there is no way to actually tell what the percentage is in the car. I can test at every fill up i guess but was wondering if there was a "E gauge" anyone was using or recommending to constantly monitor the %

I use the fuel-it sensor and their app. I ended up buying a bypass housing and put it on my return line on the fore kit (I bought the fuel-it kit prior to planning on FI). It works great. I usually test prior to fill up and then if a pump is known good I then just check post fill up with the sensor. Once I get to 75 or below on the app I go looking for high content again and pretest; repeat. I usually fill up around a half tank so even a low content will not go below 70.

I had my tuner tune for the E85 I got at the station I used. The power difference between e70-e85 is minuscule… Don’t sweat it.

I test each batch to be sure. Last fill up was 89%.

I have the innovate motorsports ethanol gauge in my car. Installed the ethanol sensor in the return line of my fore system using their flex fuel intercept kit. I do notice that at higher ethanol levels it is not super accurate though. With pump gas it reads right at E10 but with E85 (tested at 85%) it only reads E78-E79. Still it is helpful though if I fill up at a station that I don't regularly get E85 from.

What tester do you use for pre E85 checks?

besides installing the sensor and the gauge... do you need to do something else? programming? tuning? idk.

I used a Zeitronix ECA-2 in one of my other cars. The guage is very thin, compared to a typical guage. I installed the gauge in my glove box, since it's not something that you have to constantly monitor. If you do get a ethanol monitoring system, don't buy the sensor from the kit maker, buy a Continental sensor on your own. That'll save you about $70.00 on up, depending on manufacturer of the kit you decide to buy.
