Hi Guys;
The only news I see on 2020 Mustang, is GT500 being reviled in Autoshow, but I can't find any info what new features are going to be in the GT and Ecoboost.

Any source of data?

Highly doubt anything is changing for the 2020s other than maybe GT500 being added and GT350 being removed.

We do have this thread going on though, "2022" Mustang.

I'd like to see a 2nd revision of the Voodoo before it's ended.

I’m gonna guess that 2020 will bring some changes to the list of available colors, Ford’s Copilot 360 driver-assist tech package being made standard across the lineup (or at least standard on Premium groups), and of course the GT500 being (re?)introduced as the top tier Mustang.

I agree.......with S650 seemingly being a '23MY, I don't see any changes other than new colours for the '20MY.

I doubt they'd remove the 350. The 500 is a totally different car; drag vs track. The 500 will most likely wind up faster in the 1/4 and slower on a road course.
Everything originally indicated the 350 being a limited MY production car and suggests that the only reason it keeps being made is because the 500 is taking so long to come out. Supposedly they've stopped making Voodoo engines at the plant as well so I'm with the group that they'll stop making it. It's a halo car, so is the 500, no need to have both at the same time and I don't think they have before.

Everything I've seen of the upcoming GT500 leads me to believe it'll demolish a GT350 and GT350R in every category. You don't put a wing and fat meats all around on a drag focused car...

The 2020 Mustang comes in a special color called BBQ sauce.

Wait for it...

I could have sworn there was a year or two in 5th gen, or am I thinking the boss 302?

That's reasonable logic, but based on the Demon/Hellcat I don't see a 700hp+ musclecar being a good track car either. I'm curious to see what this thing can do.
The Boss302 and the GT500 overlapped for the S197(5th generation). These were definitely different animals though. Boss being made for the track and the GT500 as more of a cruiser(Or I guess drags as well). GT500 was a fast, heavy, pig though. Weighed an extra 300-400 pounds over the Boss.

In fairness to Dodge, the Demon/Hellcats are typically marketed for straight line runs and doing burnouts, not carving corners. And since we can only speculate what the GT500 will do based off the leaked images and very little info Ford has mentioned, we'll get some solid info in 10 days.

I'm hoping the new colors shown on the leaked GT500 brochure aren't unique to the Shelby.....

Grabber Lime
Iconic Silver
Red Hot Metallic
Twister Orange Metallic

Hopefully those will also be available GT and Ecoboost :like:
