I'm in the same boat. I've been hauling out to long island to some meets but I have to believe there are more meets in NJ.
FYI October 6th is the Top Gear cars and coffee at Paramus mall parking lot. Huge event (it is a ticketed event) but in spring there was a crazy amount of people/cars. I'll be there.

We do Sunday cruises at least twice a month. It's a small group of folks who really love driving. You can tell how much they love cruises by how early we meet on Sunday mornings.
