As the others said don't trust the LED's on top. You must charge it to full before putting in the car. Although in theory the BMS reset should be done, I've never noticed a difference not doing it, even when I look at the data logging on Forscan. For getting along with GT350 electronics the ATX-20-HD and ATX-30-HD are the most reliable since they don't have the Restart circuitry. The Restart version batteries were hit or miss when I tested them in the GT350, though I do see GT guys running them without issue. I don't see it as a worthwhile feature so I recommend sticking with the ATX-20-HD or ATX-30-HD.
Is anyone running the ATX-30-HD and does it fit well?

I’m told its too tall. Antigravity seemed to confirm that by suggesting i wait on the 20-HD rather than purchase the 30.

Same here. I’d probably pick the 30, but all the homework I’ve done suggests you’d have to get creative mounting a 30. BUT, that same homework didn’t really reveal any reason the 20 would ever be a problem…and now I don’t even know or remember why I wanted the 30 in the first place, lol.

Thanks, any idea when the new battery will be available?
The AG site is a little cryptic (in stock - can be back ordered), but Amazon has 8 available from the Antigravity store at $35 less.

I haven’t had mine for long enough to render a verdict, but so far I haven’t shown it any special treatment (no charging in between start even when they’re separated by weeks) and it spins the engine faster than OE. I will say I think it’s important to acquire a LiFePO4 compatible charger and top it off before installation.

Whether you can say the 30 fits is a bit questionable. It sticks out the top of the tray and you have to leave the cover off, then put some foam under the hood so the top terminal doesn’t contact it. It’s not a good solution, and I recommend just going with the ATX-20HD.

Fit 2 of the 20's in series. Plenty of cranking power and still a big weight savings.

I have yet to look thoroughly into this BUT wonder about our oem batter box. Possibly cut it down ...OR.....so the ATX-30HD will mount securely using the LG Fab mount tray? Difference in height I know is only concern. Only 1.7" taller . ??

I have the ATX-20. I removed the battery box and fabricated a mount for the new battery and a trans cooler pump. I used a flat piece of aluminum lacingbthe piece on three uprights using the original mounting holes in the inner fender. Works great.

You could probably mount the 30 if you remove the battery box, but I think you first need to decide why you need the 30. With the 20 you can still start the car after it sits for 2 weeks without being on a tender.

True. The ATX-20HD has proven itself more than capable. It can crank our voodoo with authority. IF mine was primarily a track car I would likely not be so reluctant to go with it. However, I need that total peace of mind it will "be there" for me on long out of state travels, not degrade during bitter cold weather or from such things as dash cam and on-going oem tech causing parasitic draw. Crank amps gain is little (900 vs 970) between the two batteries. Reserve capacity I feel might make difference in my usage ( 30 Ah vs 48 Ah). Only 2.6lbs heavier.....

If you can solve the mounting problems with the 30 I’d agree. But all that’s SO much easier with the 20. That’s what it came down to for me.

Gotcha! Yes, there are mounting options avail. now from AG (LG Fab), MMR, and Fat Fab for the 20. Simple & straightforward. I guess for me it just may come down to "where there's a will there's a way". (hopefully! Lol)

If I were considering the 30, relocation might be the play. It’s still so much smaller it might not be that hard to find a spot for it.
