have a look..... it seems to me that my supercharger coolant line isn't routed correctly? Its tight in there, hard to get a good photo. Thoughts?

Yep, you have the dreaded hose displacement syndrome.

You will need to remove the strut tower brace for access.

Yup, it is definitely pinched and needs to be addressed.

What chassis number are you Tom?

Yeah, this a bit of a disappointment. I tried getting through to somebody at FRAP about this issue but got nowhere. Nobody seemed to give a shit. So it's sad seeing this, every time.

Based upon the quality issues across the board that I have experienced, I have to agree with you.

Its a real shame.

Had it as well, although at this point in time it is the only issue I’ve had with mine.

Here is a picture of a car going down the assembly line with the displaced hose prior to the strut tower brace installation. How hard would it be for the worker that installs the brace to make sure the hose is properly positioned?

So the coolant line is getting pinched between the housing and the strutbar?

I work in a production environment where we do quality checks. I wouldn't even consider our products to be as critical as vehicles, so I can't imagine how stuff like this is making it out of FRAP. I haven't found many serious issues on my GT500 fortunately, but have found a few that shouldn't have made it by anyone if they were paying attention. We shouldn't have to buy cars and then inspect them ourselves.

After - The white arrow points out the screw that the hose hangs up on.

Based on your GT500 experiences alone, I have semi-serious reservations about moving to one next year.

But I'm sure they'll have all the kinks worked out by then.

The question is, are the cars most recently delivered still coming this way?
