Here's 6 needs that the market has yet to fill.
1) A, small, electric ram/motor that can lift the front (or rear) suspension slightly for lowered cars to clear scrape threats. Something that could be easily fit onto the existing suspension (either replace the bump stops or integrate into the shock or coil assembly). Other cars feature this ability (very high end) but one of the drawbacks of going lower with any sort of aggressive front aero setup is angled driveways, out of spec speed bumps, etc. Sure there's bags, but not everyone wants to go with a pneumatic air ride suspension.
2) A strut tower brace that will work with PD blowers (i.e. whipple and the 2650). Either over the top or triangle kicker to the back firewall. The GT500 has a Magnesium brace. I don't care if it's snake oil or if you're convinced it doesn't make a difference or if it's not useful. If you fab it, people would buy it.
3) An aftermarket 2 piece driveshaft. One of the biggest drawbacks of the short format transmission is the length of the drive shaft. Ford didn't offer a single CF drive shaft for the GT350 for a reason. They couldn't get past the primary and secondary critical speed issues/ratings. Much of the frustration with Aluminum (and even some CF) single shafts is simply bad 1/2 critical speed issues (i.e. the length combined with an uneven working angle between the front and rear). A CF (or even aluminum) 2 piece setup with a sturdy CV in the middle would drop at least some weight and eliminate critical speed vibration issues.
4) A spare tire kit (complete) for the cars that come without them. I've seen others splice together a kit, but it would be nice to be able to buy a complete, reasonably priced spare tire option for long trips (with doughnut that will clear GT350/M1/PP1/2/GT500 brakes and a compact screw jack and simple combination jack crank and lug wrench).
5) An integrated rear view camera/display for GT350 and GT500 CFTP wings. I've asked numerous groups/forums and it's crickets so I'm rolling the dice on trying to splice together a wolfbox setup so I can actually use the rear view mirror again without a huge portion of it blocked or occluded. With new tech, might actually appeal to those who want an HD/night vision rear view.
6) A restraint/organizer for the rear trunk. I've searched high and low and there's nothing specifically for our cars to store stuff you keep in the trunk and keep it from sliding into the back of a seat delete barrier. So I southern engineered some bungees to a small container (that I keep my small tool kit, detailer/wipes, bottle of motor oil, paper towels, jumper cables, etc). There's a ton of organizers out there but nothing that is secured to something so it doesn't slide all over hell and Georgia during spirited driving or stopping. My setup currently works to keep it from crashing forward, but it still slides sideways cause there's really nothing to lash it down to laterally.
What is your marketing feedback for a product you'd like to see offered to solve something you've noticed about using your car?
