Seems like the ‘23 model is being rushed/ shortened to get the new S650s built but in the past the 350Rs, CFTP GT500 and Mach HPs were all built after 3/1. This date can be delayed also depending on the weather in Flatrock MI.
The reason is the Cup2 tires and track compound not recommended for weather under 40 especially not to drive on the tires even at low speeds due to tire cracking. I live near the plant and we’ve had some could days recently.
Has anyone has their HP Mach 1 delivered with cracked tires?
Any ‘23 HP deliveries yet? tire issues?
I wish ford would allow a free exchange on the Cup2 for the more street friendly 4S model when you order but oh well.
My ‘23 was just released for shipping 3/7 and was built 2/24 and we’ve definitely had some nights in the mid 20s.
Anyone looking for some fresh Cup 2s hit me up
