Hey everyone. Just wanted to show off my new diffuser from Anderson Composites. I'm the first one that I've heard of doing the fiberglass one so I figured I would share.
Overall the diffuser looks great. It comes with a blackish finish on it. It almost looks like the trim but not quite. Under this finish it is white so painting is definitely neccisary since there were a few small white chips in mine.
Painting was the most challenging part of this. I used SEM trim paint and did some gloss clear coat. I was going for a satin black look to match clean black abs plastic. Think I got pretty close, maybe it's a little glossier but oh well.
Install was pretty easy. I got a premium bumper of eBay. Cutting the premium diffuser is easy and there's pretty much just some clips and screws. Doing the front bumper is a little more challenging in my opinion. Everything lined up pretty well on the diffuser. I did have to grind down spots so that the factory clips would fit.
Fitment is pretty good. I'd give it an 8/10. There is one spot on the right where there is a slight gap. I'm probably the only one that would ever pick up on it though.
I'll include some before and after pictures. While doing this I also tinted the reflectors, reverse light, and side markers.
Enjoy!
