do your carbon fiber hoods require the use of hood pins or will the factory hood latch be sufficient?
We recommend the use of hood pins for any aftermarket composite hood. It helps reduce unwanted vibration and lift since most of our hoods reduce weight as well.
Are there any plans to make a functional heat extractor GT350 style hood for 2018 and up Mustangs?
No we do not plan to make a GT350 style with added heat extractor vents. We offer GT350 style, heat extractor style and GT500 style for the '18+
God damn it I just realized all of their other hoods are for 15-17 cars. Iāve been eyeing one of their hoods since I got my car and until your post didnāt realize for the 18+ cars we are out of luck.
I've been on the hunt for a GT350 style hood with functional heat extractor since I had my 18 GT. I think it would look really good with the Mach 1 hood vinyl too.
Can you post/DM any that have them in stock? Do not see them on the usual sites (AM/CJPP/etc.) I'm not to lazy to Google, unfortunately finding certain AC parts actually in stock quite difficult.
American Muscle does not carry our products. CJ Pony and Lethal Performance should be able to take your orders if you use our part numbers "AC-XXXX" when you contact them. They may not have product info loaded on their respective websites yet.
Now that you have a hood in production for the 18+ cars, will you be releasing your other lineup of hood styles in this fitment?

Hood insulation? thought it needs to add adhesive heat shield?
The stock Mach 1 hood liner is molded to fit the opening at the top of the factory air box. We highly recommend using the adhesive heat shield as well.
