Boom. They actually came through. Are my eyes deceiving me, or does that say GT500 CF hood vent is included, along with a rain tray??

With their $1900 price tag for the GT500 CF hood, this has me believing its all included at $2500

Furthermore, it will be on display at the Fabulous Fords show this Sundary in Irwindale. I'll post more pictures of it then.

I just got email reply from AC as I had requested some pics detailing the double-sided finished look of underside AND the incl. raintray. I was told they just finished up test fitment today and the GT350R went back to owner. They plan to get it back for more complete photos. Told him "we replicated the GT500 hood vent; our vent and raintray are the same shape as the GT500 units" is all good BUT complete photos of product underside and raintray are needed ASAP. Production will begin in July..." first units will be available in 9-12 wks (approximately).

Damn the gt500 carbon hood is $1900 and this is $2500. Y’all think they will make a fiberglass version? Because I was going to paint the top anyway. Looking at the site, it’s $1900 for the regular 350 carbon hood and $1000 for the fiberglass . If I can get the fiber glass for 1/2 price like the other hoods are, so let’s say this fiberglass version would be $1200. I’d buy it.

The GT500 CF hood they offer does not come with the CF center vent and rain tray. Those owners have to use their factory pieces. For reference, the center vent alone from Ford is currently at $1600+. We're already at $3500 and still need the rain tray

This new offering for the GT350 comes with all 3 pieces and in my opinion is priced extremely fair.

If you can get enough interest for a fiberglass version, anything is possible since they now have the mold. Doesn't hurt to call and ask
