Hahaha everything is the exact opposite in my area. Amazon Prime has been anything but lately - with delivery times in the weeks (and I can see the warehouse from my back patio), UPS and FedEx - if you can get your package at all, are usually 4-5 days delayed from their estimated delivery date, but the USPS has been on point with their delivery times - which are reasonable.

I have neighbors that work for USPS. They told me the changes under the new post master are just nuts. The removal of sorting machines and new policies about when and how deliveries go out created a complete mess. Apparently, some of those changes have been reversed, so things should improve. But, in areas that depended heavily on the lost sorting machines, it may still be a problem.

But the biggest reason USPS is in the red is because it was forced to pre-fund all pensions. This practice is unheard of anywhere else in government or business.
