Filed a report with NHTSA, I have not made an appointment with Ford. I don't trust them. No recall but we're obviously not the first. Has anyone here had an experience with a dealer with this problem? Did they do the same ol' "we've never seen this before" crap?

Doesn't apply to ours. Maybe it will one day.

When was your 17’ built? If it was built in 2016 you could be under the recall. Best to check with your dealer.

Our build date was 7/16. The recall ends at 4/15.

I remember my '18 Ecoboost convertible had this issue. Mostly only happened at highway speeds. Sold it before I was able to bring it to a dealer for a fix.
