Crazy results for the Cyclone, lots of weight reduction and suspension work done to the car, plus the NPG turbo kit of course.

He blew it up running the pass, blew up the trans a month prior but had the built trans for the run he blew up the stock motor.

My guess is piston ring lands and rings, known failure point on the stock pistons.
