so as most of you have already known AM is giving away a 850hp mustang and raptor.
for us in MD we have our great emissions testing every 2 years on our cars.
i noticed in the AM build for the mustang they use long tubes which delete the cats.
so how do you get away with this in MD and still drive the car legally?
just in case i do win i want to be prepared for the VEIP thing....if i win....

feedback?

Don't forget the over $6000 you'll need to fork over to the state (MD 6% tax + title tag fees).

I didn't enter because I couldn't afford to win.

In short you'd have a nice new truck but a track only car.

The $6k not a prob.
I guess I can change out the exhaust if needed. The emission is state run so we are screwed.
It's really a big waste of time and a state momeymaker although I don't know what the money is used for. We never see it in western MD.

In PA we have emission testing every year when you get your vehicles inspected. However if I drive under 5000 miles a year in my Mustang I am Smog/Emission Exempt. Which is good because I don't have cats on the car.

Does MD have a rule/law like that?

No. Every two years you must pass the OBDII check.

And...at our local station when someone brings in a "hot rod" car they take mirrors and look under the car for the cats. I asked one time. I would have to remove at least the long tubes.
Hey beef I'll invite u up to see the whole set up when I win the car and truck! Lol
