Probably unlike a good proportion of the forumites, up until now I've been running my GT on cooking unleaded, figuring that my usual driving doesn't need the extra guns that 98 brings to the party. Ran turbo'd cars down the years on the good stuff, so it's not like a stranger. Anyway, usually it's BP 95RON that goes into the tank for a number of reasons (Nectar points and I happen to work for them, why give my custom to a competitor lol).
Anyway, on a whim gave the car a treat and filled the up with Super the other day, now half a tank through and I swear the exhaust burble has improved. Sounding even more awesome. Think I'm going nuts, can that be right? Or is the car registering it's approval at running on the good stuff
Stock exhaust, stock mechanicals etc. Kick in the arse from 4,000 miles on the clock.
