So i have the black accent package with the 19x9 rims on my car. Tire size is a 255/40/19

Wondering if 255/45/19 will still work as i found a set of tires i really don't want to pass up on.

Any help would be great.

It's an inch more of a diameter - it will likely fit (may rub if you bottom out the suspension which is rather unlikely for most people) but will significantly affect your speedometer accuracy and will look somewhat weird.

I bought separate set of base 18" wheels and got 235/50/18 (I think - OEM size for Base) Blizzaks.

Mostly. I can't tell for sure if that would rub or not - take a look at the front strut and see if with compressed suspension half an inch makes a difference.

I'm considering buying some too and I can tell you the 18" snows are dirt cheap compared to 19", about $100 less per tire. I'm glad I got base 18" wheels this time around.

My nokian snows are smaller 245/40/19s i believe.

Narrower actually helps bite imo. Id go narrower than stock rather than wider.

245/45R19 is a good choice. Taller tire, fits well.

Keep in mind unless you change the programming with Forscan or a Whipple Flare Tool not only with the speedometer be inaccurate by 1-3mph but your odometer will be incorrect also.

My winters are larger than stock and my summers smaller, by almost the same amount. I figure it evens out :lol:

For best results you would want a taller narrow tire for the snow.

Yep. I put a 225/55R18 Blizzak WS80 on the stock 18s. They work great.
