Not bent out of shape at all. I just disagree with your comment, that you can't use 430 horses sensibly....or I would think that with all the lawyers who are on the manufacturers payroll would be against all those high horsepower cars they are putting into the public's hands. Again, I respect your viewpoint and hopefully you can respect mine. I do have one question, what do you think should be the appropriate amount of horses to be used sensibly on the public roads?

yup, when I feel like going 0-70 and then I have to putz around at prevailing traffic speeds. My Daytona cruises happily and effortlessly at 85mph as if that was the speed it was designed for. Sometimes I'm tempted to wind out the 'priller in 2nd gear. I just don't dare do that very often or without protection.

I'm not sure why you're bent out of shape over my posts. If it's not possible to use 430 horse sensibly on public roads, what are you gonna do with 200 more and on tires that can't deliver forward motion?

There are a few places I know are not patrollable (or rarely) or I scout them first. Any moron can go fast in a straight line. That doesn't require any skill either. Last night I was blitzed on 495 by 2 yahoos in a Civic and WRX at an easy 100mph. It was one of the few sections there is rarely any enforcement. I was not impressed nor felt the need to engage in similar stupidity. 80mph is an instant Reckless charge in VA with some small exceptions. As is +20. I haven't had a ticket in ages except I got one last year 53 in a 40 crossing a bridge, which was designed as a speed trap.

Check out Escort custom installed systems. Literally undetectable. Pricey though. I had one on my STI and then ported it over to my raptor, no issues.

It sounds to me like you'd have more fun with a RD and a couple hundred more hp. But to each their own. At least you don't have to listen to beeps lol

I had a passport 9500ci. Did beep all the time, lots of false alerts. Escort just came out with a new one last month, redline 360c... Granted it's 6 years newer than what I had before but the false alerts are easily 90% less now.

Here is my experience.
I have a 17 GT. It’s supercharged. It’s mild compared to many builds here but it’s making 611 WHP. I couldn’t decide what wheels I wanted so I said screw it and installed Pilot Sport AS3+ on my stock 18s

255/45/18 at all 4 corners.
These tires only have about 1000 miles on them and it’s hot in GA right now but they put the power down extremely well for me. The car is not a DD but I do drive it in the winter so that is why I went all season.

I’m very impressed with the AS3. In 2nd gear at 50 mph I could spin the Pzeros. For the most part I can floor it at any speed in 2nd and hook and go with the AS3+.

Are you auto or manual? If manual, I am surprised you can floor it in 2nd and hook because I can't even do that in 3rd and 4th depending on the speed. 611 WHP is still a lot.

I’m manual. My wheel torque was 479 ft lbs which I thought was somewhat low for a TVS but it still goes well. I also have 3.31 gears.
