So we see it daily and throughout the forum regarding some of the nuances and annoyances of the 5.0 Coyote (just engine, NOT whole car) - such as VCT issues, OPG issues, lMRC issues and we can go on and on.

My questions are and probably is more related to longer term owners or those who daily drive:

1) How many of you have NOT had a single issue with your 5.0 Coyote engine??

2) What is your weekly driven miles and total accrued milage to date since ownership?

2019 gt bought new in late 18. 68,5XX miles now. I average just over 20k a year. The factory oil filter wasn't installed tight and developed a leak before my first oil change. I also had one wheel bearing go bad around 40k. Other than that it's spot on. No leaks, no oil consumption. Tuned on e85 at 5k and boosted at 48k. I've had a few aftermarket parts cause me issues but the coyote has been strong. I technically have the bbq tick but it's only been loud enough to hear a handful of times so I've lucked out.

Not a single issue. About 39k miles worth of daily/road course use over 5 1/2 years. I would say about 3,000 of those miles were spent on track mostly at WOT and over 6,000rpm.

Besides the recent camera issue, not a thing.
99% not driven in the rain, hibernates every winter and only spirited driving. 26000 KLM 16000 miles.

2017 Base model GT with the MT-82, and bought it used with 21,000 miles. I daily drive it about 325 miles a week. Now, it is sitting just at around 32,000 miles. I have not kept it stock, it has full bolt ons and e85 minus cams if you want to count those. I do at least a few WOT pulls every day onto the highway or so.

The only issue with the engine I have is I suspect bad guide or valve seals. My engine eats a lot of oil. and after idling for a while, or if I start the car when it is already warmed up, blue ish grey smoke will pour out of the exhaust. No drivability issues though, engine runs perfectly happy

On my second boosted 2018+. Both had the roush p2 installed around 1000 miles. First one had melted cats at 7k and the dealer fixed it. Second one has no cats and is tuned. I traded the first at 14k miles. Second one turned 11k today

2018 with 17,100 miles. I retired in September, so I really haven't got anywhere to drive to now. So, car only gets driven about 50 miles a week. But, no issues at all. At my last oil change, dealer said I had one tire (right rear) that was showing wear.

16k on my 20. Some minor oil burning until 12k or so, now it's hardly anything. No issues.

Just under 152k miles on a 2013 Gen 1 Coyote. The only issue I've had is an very intermittent (one second out of range every few hundred miles, usually on a hot restart) P0171 code that I believe has to do with my aggressive tune and having 150K+ miles. Bought it in February 2013 and has been daily driven since. Probably going to have to go back to the stock tune and airbox before my next emissions test. I've eliminated all the other suspects so if that doesn't take care of it, then it's a bad PCM.

It uses not quite half a quart between oil changes (8,500 miles roughly between changes).

The way it runs otherwise I don't see why I can't get another 100k out of it. Look how pretty that 10 year old engine is. :)
