Just a quick question to the members and to the OP-what might be the deciding factor in spending twice as much on these wheels as opposed to say a set of Apex EC-7 wheels for a squared setup for track use? I love the look of these wheels, but I'm finding it hard to justify a 100%/$2K premium over the Apexes. I've used Apex wheels before, and they are the default for NASA GTS race cars nationwide. Any thoughts?

The main thing is forged vs cast. In many instances, forged wheels are stronger and lighter than a cast counterpart. But as you see, they're expensive.

Also, the apex is a "one size fits all" wheel where as many forged wheel manufacturers are full custom (i.e. custom dia,width,offsets).

Cost is a major factor in all this. Take a look at a lot of the top teams wheel selections (IMSA/PWC)

I wanted the stock look, but also wanted more barrel to caliper clearance that the 6G R-Spec replica's don't have. VIBE delivered on barrel to caliper clearance! Plus it's always nice to say that they are made in the U.S.A.

I'll use these for winter months and winter/rainy track days. The carbon fiber w/ cup 2's will be used in the summer and warmer track days.
