This was announced at the Shelby Tribute in Gardens today by Shelby Motor's co-founder. Well, looks like it'll be a base 350 for me...

All 15 MY in assuming. Which is odd since dealers still have not been told by Ford the 15 allocation process. How can one sell what they don't have?

Not sure tbh. It was really hard to hear anything since some prick was flying a drone about 3 feet above my head for the entire announcement.

They showed some cool cars, including a Shelby GT, the Shelby 500 from NFS, and our beloved. a genuine replication of Shelbys personal racer was also unveiled for sale at about $500k with an allocation of 2 per year.

I'd bet the 37 people where hand selected. Probably racing teams, maybe Sam pack, etc.

Could be some were sold to dealers as well. the title I used was his verbiage. If some have been sold to dealers, they should at least have a ball park estimate of pricing, no?

I have talked to about 15 different dealers from 300 unit a month to Presidents Award Dealerships, speaking directly with the owner/GM of each. Not one has heard anything about the 15 MY allotment process.
Another dealer owner has talked to over 20 dealers including high volume dealers and he says the same thing. Not one word, they all know the 16 MY allotments though.

How many MY 15 are you receiving?
How many MY 16 are you receiving?

Could be private collectors, Ford leadership/board, dealership owners, etc. They have no duty to sell even 1 of the 37 retail as long as someone pays the sticker price (or more likely). With only 37, and even 100 regular GT350s, don't expect many if any on the showroom floor waiting to be bought.

I have still seen no indications they are going to dealers through allocation or some sort of lottery for the supposed 15 model year. It could all be vip and authorized Shelby American sales.

You don’t want to know
My dealer told me 2 weeks ago when he got his 2015-2016 allotment that he would not be getting an R for either year.

The first batch are probably all going to the race teams and Ford employees.
