Thanks, Time Warner, for not having Velocity on demand. Although the one episode of chicks with cars or whatever it's called that I saw was 98% advertising and 27% girls who aren't mechanics or car people talking about cars and turning clean wrenches in an air conditioned studio. And not even in bikinis.

It was ok, but my wife hates that show. Bunch of no talent girls giggling, making stupid wisecracks with about 2 minutes of knowledge thrown in for good measure.

While I do agree that a good portion of the show is advertising and fluff, I'd be hard pressed to say those girls are just pretty faces. I have followed Jessi Combs (one of the girls on the show) for a number of years and she is quite an accomplished fabricator and grease monkey. She was involved in truck racing for at least 3-4 years before she broke her back in an accident. Also, even before All Girls Garage, she was on a 4x4 show for a number of years. Last I checked she was about to open up her own shop. She's a tough chick, and if you haven't noticed by now, I have a minor crush on her haha. I can't speak for the other two girls but hey, why are we complaining about pretty girls turning a wrench in the first place?

I'll have to DVR the show tomorrow so I can check it out. I'm curious to see what they have to say.
