Got some more done on my car this weekend.

Got my intake pipe modified with bungs for the meth nozzle and post-meth IAT sensor. Ran methanol lines and boost line to meth kit MAP sensor and boost controller inside. Put a plug in the meth nozzle bung temporarily until my new nozzle comes.

Please ignore my dirty engine bay and messy shed. :headbonk:

Got a pail of VP M1 Methanol, mixed it 60/40 by weight with distilled water.

And took a nice picture

Mounted my methanol tank and installed the nozzle!

Put a sheet of thin rubber between the tank and subwoofer box to protect it in case I spill some of the water/methanol while filling, don't want it to soak into the wood box.

Used a Snow Performance 625ml/min nozzle hooked up to my Alky Control system.

Just have to fill the tank and leak check the system, bleed air out, and tune/log!

Nice setup. I need to get with you this spring. I was so inspired looking at your picks, went to the garage to start it up. Uggggh, dead battery, car hasn't been started since early december, and this cold ass winter must have put a hurtin on the battery :)

Thanks man, sounds good to me!

That sucks, I dont think even my double AGM batteries could hold up for that long in the cold lol. I picked up a battery charger off Amazon awhile back for under $50, I'd grab one of those to keep the battery in good shape.

So far it looks like the methanol is a success.

Car was only seeing ~15* of timing at 12-13 psi pre-methanol

Post-methanol it is pegging the timing at 17-18* even at 14.5psi.

Just have to get the logs to Lund so they can allow the tune to add more timing. Should be able to handle 20+ and/or more boost.

Got a new revision from Lund, was able to get up to 19.5 deg of timing. Thinking its capped there and could still take more. Waiting to hear back from them to proceed with more timing or more boost instead. This Friday I have an appointment at PSI Proformance to get a new custom catch can made up that is bigger and doesnt recirculate into the intake. And am getting my wastegate spring changed to hook up my boost controller and get that all dialed in.

Please ignore my dirty car, made up a custom bracket and mounted a fire extinguisher in my car for peace of mind with the methanol tank so close to electrical stuff. Made it out of an old street sign and bought a 3LB auto fire extinguisher from Home Depot for ~$30. I'll try to get some better and cleaner pictures soon.

Here are the measurements if anyone wants to make one.

Replaced my Procharger intake piping with aluminum. Steel was starting to rust inside from water/methanol being injected.

Hooked up my eBoost Street using a 4 port solenoid. Allowing the controller to hold the wastegate shut until needed. Made an incredible difference in power. This plus the methanol has really turned the car into a rocket.

Tune is almost finished up, holding 21* timing. Boost hovers around 11-12psi hits 13.5 if i rev it out all the way. Working on bringing that up to 12-13psi consistent and 14psi peak as I think the methanol will support it. Looking into adding a second meth nozzle though since the system is turned almost all the way up.

Waiting on my new vented catch can that doesn't recirculate to the intake, once that goes in I'll try to clean up some of those vacuum lines.

Hopped on the Gates Green belt bandwagon for my Procharger.

My old Autozone belt was a little too long, this one is slightly shorter so I was able to just barely get it on by hand and didnt have to tighten the tensioner as far down as before.

Not expecting to gain any performance from it but you never know.

Thanks bro, just waiting to receive the catch can from PSI. I believe they're waiting on the valve cover fittings to come in. Using AN lines no push lock crap. Couldn't stand those when having to disconnect the PCV lines.

Hoping it comes by the weekend so I can install it along with a Driveshaft safety loop I bought. I don't track my car but the stock one still has me nervous with how much power is going through it. I dont have the money for a one piece so I got a safety loop for peace of mind.

Also over the weekend would like to install the exhaust heat wrap I got for around my cat delete pipes. Not sure if it will make a difference but wondering if it will help keep some of the heat out of the engine bay and the transmission since they run right next to it. Worth a shot.

Excellent work on both the car and the system. Curious, is it still the factory transmission or has that been modified in any way? Apologies if I missed that part already.
