Hey guys, the time has come to start my build log!

On March 18th 2017, I picked up my 2017 Mustang GT Premium. I can honestly say this is my dream car. I have always been a fan of Mustangs, but once the S550 came out, the choice was clear. I had been planning this purchase for 5+ years, and it finally has come through. I came from a 2002 Hyundai Elantra and a 1996 Grand Prix GTP, I've always been a fast driver, but never had a fast car till now. So I decided to go all the way, full overkill with a supercharger and all.

Got alot done today. I removed my sound tube, installed my Boost and fuel pressure A-pillar gauges, changed my differential oil, and installed my Singer 370A alternator.

Nice looking build I see a lot of similarities between the two of use.

Where did you or do you plan on mounting the 9500 ci screen and controls?

Thanks!

I dont have many interior pictures yet but I mounted the display on the rear view mirror (looks perfect, no visible wires). And I mounted the controls below and to the left of the headlight switches

Installed my Procharger P1X last weekend! No final pics yet but these were some I snapped during install.

Tune through Lund is done, Dakota at Lund was great. Car pulls ridiculously hard and spins tires shifting into 3rd. I am eventually going to be looking into adding a wastegate however to get into boost faster. But for now, this thing is fine. It's a god damn rocket.

Should be hitting the dyno in a week or two. Goal is 650whp.

Question for you, I see on the photo of the new ID injectors you re-used the OEM injector mounting clips?

I recently did my Procharger install which came with the DW 1000 injectors, and you do not reuse the stock injector clips. If you do that, it stops the injector from fully seating into the fuel rail.

I'd check with @beefcake , but I think its the same with the ID injectors, you don't re-use the OEM fuel injector clips. Hopefully Terry can chime in to be sure I'm giving you the correct advice.

I may not be correct, but wanted to mention it just incase. Loving your build!

I did take a few minutes to look at them when I installed them, they didn't come with new clips so I believe you have to reuse the stock ones. The clips that you see on them below the factory clip holds a spacer onto the injectors (came that way). The injectors are physically the same size as the stock ones.

They felt like they installed securely, but thank you for pointing it out regardless just in case. Hopefully someone can chime in here.

Check this thread, looks like you don't re-use the stock clips as I suspected:

Thanks for the clarification. Mine fit without a problem so I'm not to worried. If im bored one day maybe I'll remove them lol. :D

In other news going to try to hit the dyno next weekend! Just have to check availability. Tried my Torco tune yesterday and didnt feel much difference, but since the car is so powerful anyway I guess its a small improvement lol. Hoping to get my suspension parts in sometime this month, have to find time.
