Yes initially I thought I'd have to switch to a metal intake, but Prometh assured me it would be ok and theyve done a ton of plastic manifold with no issues. If one comes flying out I'll be knocking on their door for a new intake lol

What is the logic behind spraying after IAT sensor?

I'm going to have a 9th nozzle in the pipe as well before the IAT. Since direct port is sprayed close to the head there is little affect on lowering IATs. A smaller 9th injector in the pipe helps you cool the air charge again. Also allows you to measure it with the IAT, since the direct port nozzles are in the runners, a plenum mounted IAT wouldn't be able to sense the meth either.

For comparison the total of the direct port nozzles is 40GPH, the pipe nozzle is only 10GPH.

She goes out on Saturday! Got the estimate and it came out to $10,069. Going with 11.5 compression pistons and they will use a slightly thinner head gasket to bump me up to around 11.7 compression. Head studs, double keyed crank, and billet chain guides/tensioner arms. Reusing my block. They will also install my GT350R sway bar while it's there because I didnt feel like fighting with it on jack stands in the driveway.

Took it out and bed the new brakes in this morning, finished up some odds and ends on the car. All I have to do is wash it and its ready to go.

Awesome! Are you going to do anything to the cylinder heads while it's apart? Curious if you would want/need to replace the valve springs or anything else while you're in there.

The heads should be fine damage wise but of course they will check over them in case. Any upgrades in the head aren't really necessary at my power level.

Still hard at work even with the car gone.

Received my new 12 gallon meth tank.

Before I shipped the car out I made a template out of cardboard for the board that would support the new meth tank. Put that together today and stained it to match the rest of the sound system wood. The cutout on the left is so I can access the meth pump and lines if needed. Cutout on the right is so I can access my electrical and fuses.

Also ordered an actual level gauge to install onto the tank so I can see how full it is aside from just an "empty" LED.

Thanks! Should only be a couple weeks! Then hopefully will get the meth tuning done a week or two after that.

I waited 10 months to send the car out, it sat in the driveway and i was very patient the whole time.

Now that it's in the shop for a few weeks I am itching for it back and impatient as hell. Lol. Hoping to get it back this weekend but we will see.

Got the meth tank ready to go today. Drilled and tapped holes for the vent running outside the car, mocked up the low level sensor and level gauge.
