I have seen several post the last week of mystery items and or strange items in Used Mustangs. So thought maybe a post were we can talk about them in one place. So what's the oddest, strange item or head scratching mod you have found in your used mustang after getting it home?

About a month after I bought my '18 EB convertible I finally got around to climbing into the back seat and found a womens sweater in the convertible boot. The car was off lease from enterprise in Florida so God knows how long it had been there. Not all that odd I guess...

Not used and not all that strange in Florida but every once in while a gecko will climb up into the engine bay and not make it back out alive, poor little guys, love them all.

Not my car, but still a crazy story. A buddy of mine bought a used 97 Cobra about seventeen years ago then, a few years later, the fuel pump went out. He pulled out the back seat to replace it, and found $10,000 in $100 bills under the seat. My car was a repo out of Laredo, TX which made me wonder if I needed to worry about what a drug sniffing dog might find.

Honestly, don't Enterprise wash/clean the cars? Ugh...

The dealerships express tech’s bottle of spray detailer with his name and “Un Nino” written on it. I bought it out of state, needless to say I wasn’t driving back to give it back.

The strangest part of this story is you dont pull the back seat to change a fuel pump in a 97 Cobra. You go out back and drop the tank.

Yeah, I'm not buying it. Sounds fabricated to me.

Mine was new rather than used, but the first time I pulled the engine cover off my '18 I found what look looked like chicken rib and back bones under the cover. It looked like whoever was assembling the car was eating their lunch in the engine bay and forgot to take their chicken when moving on to the next car (or used mine as the trash).

I just found a Frozen pencil that somehow got behind the factory subwoofer yesterday. I pulled the speaker out to put new taillights in and the pencil somehow was behind the speaker. It was back in the empty space between the quarter panel and trunk liner. I have no clue how that pencil made it back there. 100% not from me, as I don't have kids and prefer the Little Mermaid over Frozen. :cwl:

Found a gigantic bear in the back of a $1000 Hyundai I bought. Made me jump when I opend the trunk to put groceries in.

Its not that strange if it was his first Ford, he may have checked praying for an access point like you'd find on any European or Japanese car lol

Not a Mustang, but back when I was finishing up high school my father bought a 77' Corvette. It needed interior work badly so we started pulling out the seats and carpet. In the area behind the seats under the carpet we found a 'slim jim' used to pop open car doors. We also found some old issue of Cheri magazine (porn magazine) from the 80's. I remember commenting to him that women had a lot more body hair back then. lol
